Junior Maintenance Officer – Stapylton

Location: Stapylton
Start: Immediate

We currently are seeking to hire a Junior Maintenance Officer within our Maintenance Department based at Yatala.  We are searching for a self-motivated, hard-working person to join the team.

The role is 38hrs a week Monday to Friday plus an occasional Saturday.

 

About the role:
  • To assist the Maintenance Officer, maintain truss and frame manufacturing equipment
  • General maintenance work of facilities, buildings and grounds e.g lawn mowing
  • Follow safe working standards and procedures
  • Moving and assisting in the transportation of furniture and equipment
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of the maintenance program
  • Complete relevant maintenance documentation
  • Basic computer skills

 

Skills and Experience:
  • Mechanically minded
  • Be well presented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Some knowledge in the use of power tools

Maintenance Fitter – Stapylton

Location: Stapylton

We are currently searching for an experienced Maintenance Person within our Maintenance Department based at Yatala.  We are seeking a self-motivated, hard-working person to join this team. The role is 38hrs a week Monday to Friday plus an occasional Saturday. Must have experience in Roll Formers, Truss and Frame machinery and be able to weld.

 

About the role:
  • Maintain truss and frame manufacturing equipment
  • General maintenance work of facilities, buildings and grounds
  • Follow safe working standards and procedures
  • Moving and assisting in the transportation of furniture and equipment
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of the maintenance program
  • Complete relevant maintenance documentation
  • Basic computer skills.

  • Forklift Licence, Scissor lift and Working at Heights (Advantageous but not essential)

An opportunity has become available for the services of an experienced and qualified Crane Truck Operator to assist in the delivery of roof trusses and frames to building sites.

We are seeking a self-motivated, hard-working person to join this team. Must have Construction Blue/White card and be physically fit to pass a pre-employment fitness test, and minimum HR license. A CV license is essential.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver goods to the correct site promptly
  • Pick up goods from Customers and Suppliers when requested
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed and taken with delivery, signatures are requested for proof of delivery
  • Take clear and relevant photos of all drops and record any damage that may occur in transit
  • Report any issues to Management immediately
  • Relate customer complaints to Management promptly

 

About You:

Steel Frame and Truss Estimator/Detailers – Caloundra & Stapylton

Location: Caloundra & Stapylton

We have an opportunity available for the services of an experienced Steel Estimator/Detailer within our Design Hub based at Yatala or Caloundra. We are seeking a self-motivated, hard-working person to join this team.

The role is 40hrs a week Monday to Friday with occasional overtime. 

Previous experience as a Steel Estimator/Detailer using FRAMECAD is essential.

About the role:
  • Use custom design programs to provide cutting sheets and layouts for fabrication orders
  • Ensure accuracy of cutting sheets and layouts
  • Provide cost estimates for fabrication quotes
  • Consider alternative materials to ensure cost-effective quotes whilst maintaining quality and compliance with standards.
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Follow safe working standards and procedures

 

Skills and Experience:
  • Competent in the use of FRAMECAD software.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining solid working relationships with existing customers, as well as the vital cultivation of new business accounts. As a part of the role, a company car will be included.

  • Previous experience in a sales role in the timber and hardware industry
  • Ability to build strong business relationships and networks.

About the role:

Skills & Experience:

our main responsibilities will be to provide support to a number of senior staff within our purchasing department. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
